About Bald Pate Mountain
Bald Pate Mountain Preserve located in South Bridgton has it all! Great views, family friendly hiking, groomed ski trails (for a small fee), hunting, and snowshoeing. The preserve consists of 486 acres of forest, meadows, granite-topped scenic vistas and boasts a pristine ancient pitch pine forest atop its summit. The 6.7-mile trail network offers an array of recreational opportunities and views.
Trails are easy-to-moderately difficult. Great for kids! All hiking trails are marked and signed and are maintained by a dedicated group of local stewardship volunteers. There are two parking areas for Bald Pate Mountain Preserve. The main area is off of Rt 107. Access to the Micah Trail (room for 4 vehicles) is off Moose Pond Cove Rd, on the left-hand side. MORE
